Datahub Analytics is looking for a DevOps Engineer to join our team and play a pivotal role in growing the team and contributing to the design, deployment, and optimization of our IT infrastructure. This role will focus on leveraging Linux administration, Ansible automation, Kubernetes orchestration, and containerization solutions to ensure system reliability, scalability, and security.

As a DevOps Engineer, you will be responsible for installing, configuring, maintaining, and supporting Linux and Kubernetes environments, while ensuring robust security practices are in place. You will work closely with developers, IT operations, and business
ess stakeholders to streamline deployments, automate infrastructure provisioning, and enhance system performance.

The purpose of this role is to design, implement, and maintain scalable, secure, and high-performance infrastructure environments using Linux, Ansible, Kubernetes, and containerization technologies.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and maintain Linux operating systems and Kubernetes clusters.
• Implement and manage Ansible automation for system provisioning and configuration.
• Deploy, manage, and optimize containerization solutions.
• Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and apply performance tuning.
• Ensure security hardening and compliance for Linux and Kubernetes environments.
• Automate deployment pipelines and integrate CI/CD tools.
• Collaborate with development and operations teams to ensure smooth releases.
• Perform regular system updates, patching, and backups.
• Document infrastructure configurations, processes, and troubleshooting steps.
• Provide technical support and guidance for infrastructure-related issues.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
• 1–3 years of experience in IT infrastructure, system administration, or DevOps roles.
• Proven experience with Linux administration (installation, configuration, maintenance, troubleshooting).
• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes deployment and management.
• Experience with Ansible or similar configuration management tools.
• Familiarity with containerization technologies such as Docker.
• Basic knowledge of networking, firewalls, and load balancing.
• Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI).
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively across teams.
