Data Engineer

Datahub Analytics is seeking a talented and results-oriented data engineer to focus on delivering trusted data to the business. As a member of the Data and Analytics Team, the Data Engineer leverages a variety of technologies to load, transform, and prepare data sets of all shapes and sizes for the clients. During a typical day, the data engineer will spend time analyzinanalyzing data, developing solutions using ETL tools, and loading tested data sets into the enterprise data warehouse. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a positive "can do" attitude, a passion for learning and growing, and the drive to work hard and get the job done in a timely fashion.
Responsibilities
- Work with business users to define requirements for data projects.
- Analyse source system, data schema, and data profiles to guide solution design
- Optimize ETL processes for performance, reliability, and maintainability.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth integration of new data sources and changes.
- Own, monitor, and improve automated solutions to ensure quality and performance objectives are met.
- Define and document solution designs, with feedback from team members and technical architects.
Must Have
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, or related field.
- Proficiency in SQL and experience with database management systems (DBMS)
- Understanding of data warehousing concepts, star/snowflake schemas, and ETL principles
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to details.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Preferred Knowledge in Python.
Nice to have
- Experience with SSMS is a plus.
- Experience with SSIS is a plus.
