Infrastructure Engineer Internship

This is an 8-week, full-time, hybrid training program for an Infrastructure Engineer Trainee based in Amman, Jordan.
The program is designed for fresh graduates or candidates nearing graduation who want to build a career in infrastructure engineering, Linux administration, DevOps, platform engineering, or enterprise solution delivery.
Trainees will follow a structured technical learning path focused on infrastructure fundamentals, enterprise Linux administration, containerization, automation, Infrastructure as Code, and modern operational practices across both on-premise and cloud environments.
The program is designed around active learning, technical discipline, and measurable progress. Trainees will be expected to meet clear weekly milestones, complete weekly technical assessments, and demonstrate continuous improvement throughout the program.
Daily and weekly recap sessions will be conducted by engineers and the team manager to review progress, reinforce technical concepts, and provide guidance and feedback.
Responsibilities
- Complete assigned weekly learning objectives, technical tasks, and assessments
- Learn how infrastructure environments are deployed, secured, monitored, and maintained
- Gain hands-on exposure to Red Hat Enterprise Linux administration and enterprise infrastructure practices
- Participate in technical recap sessions and document assigned technical work properly
- Demonstrate accountability, discipline, and continuous progress throughout the program
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field, or expected graduation soon
- Basic understanding of Linux systems and operating system fundamentals
- Strong interest in infrastructure engineering, DevOps, platform engineering, or system administration
- Good problem-solving skills, communication skills, and willingness to learn independently
- Professional attitude, reliability, and ability to meet technical and weekly expectations
